Fee for Service is available when a student is not eligible for subsidies, government loans or where no subsidies are available.

The Higher Level Skills program provides a government subsidy to support eligible individuals to access subsidised training in selected certificate IV or above qualifications, and priority skill sets.
South Australian school students can sign up to a Training Guarantee while they are still at school. As part of their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), or equivalent senior secondary certificate, they can put themselves on a pathway to a job or trade.

Vocational education and training (VET) courses are available to students while they are still at school. This is often referred to as VETiS. VET is learning which is directly related to work. Nationally recognised qualifications are developed by industry to give people the knowledge and skills they need to work in a particular job.
Funded by the Queensland Government, to support Queensland’s Year 12 graduates to successfully transition to employment, the Queensland Government is offering fee-free training in high priority qualifications identified by the Queensland Government and industry groups. The training is available through a range of certificate III level vocational education and training (VET) courses, as well as apprenticeships and traineeships.
